LET'S TALK KIZOMBA PROJECT BEGINS

A group of Kizomba organisers, promoters and dancers have come together to bring a live chat stream to the Kizomba community where the viewers and listeners can put their questions to the hosts and panel.

 

Andrea Fitzpatrick of Nzinga Nights and Just Kizomba podcast held discussions with Chrome Star Promotions about the Kizomba world and the idea was born when promoter Garrio Chrome Star became involved. He suggested using Let's Talk Kizomba as the show name as he had used this for his Let's Brand previously.

 

They were then joined by Super Dixon, Winston Fox, Sonia Barrett and Pechonia Coleman. The show is a few episodes in and is already gaining in popularity.

"I had a conversation with Garrio from Chrome Star Promotions about the current state of the Kizomba scene and he was unsure the scene could be changed. We had further discussions and he believed I had a good passion to make change on numerous topics "

 

Fitzpatrick added " When the conversation went on Garrio encouraged me to take action in some way and we spoke about his previous work doing radio shows for the community. He said he could help in the area and I decided to look at doing a show." Andrea expanded " I had the name for the show Just Kizomba but Garrio pointed out it could be limiting and could not accomodate future growth so we used Let's Talk from his Let's Brand."

Our show aims to raise awareness amongst
the dance community of what's the hot topic of the moment.

It's a place to air your views, ask questions and have your voice heard.

 

Topics will include:
The current trends on the dancefloor.
What music do you like to dance to?


Are there enough events on or are there too many?


Dance Etiquette do we need it?


Are events a safe place for dancing?


Other topics soon to be revealed.

 

No topic is too taboo.

 

We will TALK about all subjects.


One of our aim's is to act on idea's, concerns,
proposals and more from our Kizomba Community.

 

We will work with our Teachers, DJ's,Promoters,
organisers and other dancers to ensure
we can provide the best results and

environment as possible.

 

People will be encouraged to submit

questions and join in.
